The appeal of No Mercy was the fact they were three hot Miami Latin men (Marty Cintron with the Hernandez brothers, Ariel and Gabriel), and they were pushing pretty much the same kind of dance music at the time as Ace Of Base and Real McCoy, except with the inclusion of Spanish guitars in most of their songs. It's not that their music was BAD - it's just the guys were easier on the eyes than their music was on the ears.
The singles from their 1996 self-titled debut was "Where Do You Go", "Please Don't Go" (as my boyfriend at the time said, they have this "Go" thing going on), a decent remake of "Kiss You All Over", and the sappy ballad "When I Die". Curiously, their rendition of "Missing" (most famous by Everything But The Girl) released prior to this album is 'missing'.
No Mercy released a second album years later entitled More, but obviously nobody wanted any more of them.
