CD 7: Living In Oblivion Vol. 3/The 80's Greatest Hits

Yesterday I found one volume of the Living In Oblivion series that I missed out on when it was released in the early 90's; released as 5 separate discs. Essentially the series is a "best of the 80's", featuring many one-hit wonders from the MTV era.

Surprisingly I only recognize six of the tracks on this volume by name, and the rest I faintly remember or don't remember at all.

My automatic favorites are "Cruel Summer" by Bananarama, "It's My Life" by Talk Talk, "(I Just) Died In Your Arms Tonight" by Cutting Crew, and "Sunglasses At Night" by Corey Hart.

Some new favorites are "Sidewalk Talk" by Jellybean (featuring Madonna - it even SOUNDS like a Madonna song from that era), "Poison Arrow" by ABC, "Election Day" by Arcadia, "Hanging On A Heart Attack" by Device, and "What Do All The People Know" by The Monroes.

I'll definitely have to get ahold of the other volumes!
