CD 11: Diana Ross & The Supremes "Greatest Hits Volume 3"

Diana Ross & The Supremes Greatest Hits Volume 3 was originally released in 1969, more or less to cash in on the popularity of The Supremes farewell single "Someday We'll Be Together", and Ross's departure from the group. All but 2 of the selections are from 1968-69; from the Reflections LP to Cream Of The Crop. The single "Love Is Here And Now You're Gone" is from an earlier album, and "The Happening" was a novelty single from a film of the same title.

This CD reissue is from 1992, and by then, really wasn't worth the effort of releasing (as the same hits were already on other compilations). GHV3 is no longer in print and is a collector's item, but was reissued as part of the 2-disc The Supremes - Gold set.
